Meet Monica

Since 1992, top-producer and licensed broker in California and Nevada, Monica Hartinger’s work has been guided by her commitment to integrity, compassion, and respect, the same qualities she uses to lead the Cultivate Real Estate team. Monica believes in the power of building relationships with each client by listening to their needs, hopes, and dreams. She acts as a trusted partner and friend who helps clients navigate the complex real estate process and walks alongside them each step of the way. One of her most renowned qualities is her realness:

Monica began her career as the CFO of a San Francisco property management firm after studying business, economics, and accounting at the University of Nevada, Reno, and the University of San Francisco. She has managed over 2,600 properties in Northern and Southern California, and she now owns A & M Property Services, Inc., a management company headquartered in Benicia. This experience makes her an incredible ally for investors, as she has an in-depth understanding of all aspects of property ownership. 

 

Whether her clients are buying or selling, Monica provides the highest level of service. Sellers get top-of-the-line staging, marketing, and positioning, and buyers get a selection of homes curated to their needs and desires. When working with Monica, clients can expect a calm, orderly transaction, one in which every need is taken care of by her, her team, or her vast network of elite professionals. All receive fierce negotiation and steady support long after the sale has been completed. 

 

With so many accomplishments, people are usually surprised to learn that Monica was born with a rare heart condition that has required multiple surgeries. That’s because she grew up in a family that instilled in her a can-do attitude and a hard-work ethic, which has given her the doggedness to overcome any obstacle and a dedication to giving back. It has also filled her with gratitude, a robust appreciation for life, and profound empathy for others. “I guess you could say I serve from the heart!” she says. 

 

This is evident outside of her real estate career, too. Monica supports Heart to Heart, a program that teaches surgeons around the world to perform corrective surgery for kids with congenital heart defects. She is also a Realtor® Agent for the Children’s Miracle Network and donates a portion of each sale she makes to the organization. 

 

A proud mom, Monica has a son, Brady, a paramedic and firefighter in Dixon, and a daughter, Serina, a UC Berkeley grad who now lives in Dublin, Ireland.  She credits them, along with her mom, Diana, dad, Andrew, and sisters, Vivian, Therese, Denise, and Michelle, for her strength!
